The cousins didn't get to see one another very much as children. While Spock was intensely concentrating on his studies, Schlock relaxed in the pastures discovering new and inventive ways to flash ferment barley and hops.
When Spock entered the Academy, Schlock felt as though his heart had been ripped from his chest. He once believed that he and his cousin would attend college together and roam the streets from one kegger to another. Alas, it was not meant to be.
Schlock then entered Starfleet to search the galaxy for his lost cousin. Unfortunately, his quest has been somewhat derailed since discovering the Joy of Bacon® on Earth.
